RISE UP AMBASSADORS.png

Rise Up is designed to empower and elevate youth by partnering with organizations that serve them and their families. Youth voices must be centered in our work to ensure relatability and effectiveness. Our goal and dream have been to hire youth and young adults to share their insights, feedback, and expertise so they can speak to our work and within the workshops we host.

We are excited to announce that we have hired FIVE AMAZING young people for our Rise Up Ambassador Program! Each ambassador brings their unique perspectives, ideas, and identities to create a diverse and dynamic group.

One unique feature of this year's program is we will be traveling to Washington, DC to facilitate our Authentically and Effectively Engaging Gen Z at the 2025 National Mentoring Summit. This incredible opportunity allows us to share our insights and expertise with mentoring professionals everywhere.

As mentioned above, we are very excited to participate in the National Mentoring Summit in Washington, DC, this coming January. To make the trip a life-enriching experience, we also plan to visit many of the exhibits, monuments, and historical locations to learn and develop as a team.

As a teenager, I remember attending a trip to Washington, DC, and it completely changed my life. I did not know it yet, but I would end up living and serving in the Baltimore/Washington area for nearly 13 years. Exposure to this kind of learning excursion planted a seed at 14 and blossomed at 24.

Here is where YOU come in – to make this trip what we envisioned, we must partner with individuals, organizations, companies, etc., to financially support the cost. We also invite you to support our ambassadors by sharing this information with your personal and professional networks.

We thank you in advance and can’t wait to share all about our trip in our February 2025 newsletter!
